Gold and silver for OMNINET: a total of 20 practices successfully certified according to ITIL®

OMNINET is accredited at gold and silver level

As a reliable software manufacturer, we are delighted to be classified as an “Accredited Tool Vendor” at gold level with currently 15 certified practices (out of 9 required practices for this status), trained and certified employees, and further planned certifications. Furthermore, also OMNITRACKS, our IT service cloud, was awarded with silver.

This enables us to offer our customers and interested parties the security of choosing a high-quality ITIL®-certified tool in OMNITRACKER and the proof of corresponding expertise in the field of ITSM. Our consultants and project managers are also certified specialists.

What does the award mean for OMNINET customers?

The switch to certification by PeopleCert will not be noticeable to our customers, apart from the new look of the certificate badge. Our development team has taken all relevant ITIL® recommendations into account when designing our solutions such as the ITSM Center. The training and education of our ITIL® Practice Managers will continue to be carried out in the usual quality. This means for us only the certification process will change in the future, while our customers can continue to enjoy the usual features, benefits and reliability of our applications and services.

How do customers and end users benefit from an ITIL® certification of the ITSM tool they use?

The ITIL®4 framework (published in fall 2019) aims to make digital service management processes more efficient. It requires strict international standards and continuous process optimization, which must be met by the tools for certification. Comprehensive reporting and analysis options must also be implemented.

ITIL®-certified ITSM tools therefore not only ensure that a company’s service quality and efficiency are improved through standardized processes, which result in faster problem-solving and minimized downtimes. They also contribute to greater transparency and traceability of services that ultimately increase user satisfaction.

About PeopleCert—the new sole ITIL® certification body

Since July 2021, PeopleCert has been the globally recognized—and only—certification company for ITIL® and can ensure strict, consistent criteria for its services worldwide.

It defines and monitors international standards and procedures for the accreditation of training and examination providers. The various achievable ITIL®4 certificate levels are based on well-thought-out criteria that are defined by long-standing experts and regularly adapted to the latest technological developments.
